Boy CNN is really gloating about that one poll
much like they were with the one LA Times poll...I am not worried this is JUST the beginning..I surely know it will be difficult but we are getting tough...NOW all the RW freaks and all the conservitive reporters are saying Kerry is coming unhinged..Hannity said that today...they can't even bear the thought that our guy is coming out swining,...anybody else feel okay with this poll...I figured his ass would be ahead after their hatefest but it ain't over

1. Well, it's a CNN poll!
And remember that it took them a week to admit to admit Kerry got a convention bounce!

3. i feel comfortable where we are, i dont believe this poll
polling report has a handful of polls and all are tight. screw all those that want to tell kerry how to run his campaign. remember how they manipulated all this with gore. they directed so many of the american peoples feeling, shifted energy to bush every way they could. we just cannot jump on the wagon of their bullshit

4. Look at the psychology of the poll..
Most Bushies know he's a lying asshole and they're just looking for a reason not to vote for him...If they think he's up by 10%, they won't vote. The downside would be that Kerry supporters say to themselves that it's all over and refuse to go to the polls...That's why it's important for Kerry supporters to know that these polls are worthless at this time in the campaign. It will change in the next 3 days...then it will change again in the 3 days after that...Ignore them!

5. It's the old right-wing ploy: Repeat a lie often enough....
They're trying to create their own reality. Sometimes they've been effective at it.

I watched a CSPAN broadcast of Al Gore's 2000 DNC acceptance speech last night. My first thought was, "Who the hell ever said that this guy was wooden?" He was showing emotion, spoke very well, commanded the audience, etc. That "wooden" stuff was purely a media fiction.

Time to call these pinheads on their infractions now. Rapid response.

9. They've been trying to call Kerry cold, patrician ...
I mean, granted they turned to another page in their thesaurus, but it's the same shit they tarred Gore with, really. So he gives a couple of speeches where it actually sounds like his blood pressure went a few points above normal, and pleased some rally audiences quite well (generally, those audiences represent 'the base' some keep saying Kerry has abandoned) and now the media gripe that he's 'unhinged' and 'out of control.'

Wonder if it's not just that they're so used to his sounding laconic and studied, when he goes off the cuff -- even if he's saying the same things, really, that he's said all along -- they are honestly surprised when he loosens up and tries to depart from that college professorial tone.

F*ck it -- they can't win with the media, and that's been going on for a long time. Democrats are either patronizing and arrogant or they're angry and insane. Maybe Democratic candidates aren't the ones with perceptivity problems.

8. I think this may energize voters
If they think the Repugs are going to win, they'll start coming out in droves and abandon their apathy for one election.
