Why doesn't McCain just go ahead and give his concession speech at the debate on Wednesday?
Save us all a couple more weeks of useless noise.

1. That would be nice
But, unfortunately, WAY too much to ask of him. Get strapped in and ready for some more "noise". It's going to a bumpy(ier) ride over the last 3 weeks.

3. Because that's not how things
work in running for election.

No matter how hopeless, you do keep campaigning until the end. Plus, you can be certain that everyone around McCain is assuring him he is going to win.
