9. You are correct. We have a pocket book issue- the economy- that wasn't a concern in 2004
With a little more luck and less voting shenanigans, Kerry would have won in 2004. Kerry's hard fought campaign in 2004 has paved the way for Senator Obama.
I am assuming you meant nothing negative about Kerry with your comments.

5. Sorry, but this is NOT 2004.
Things are worse now and Obama is running a better campaign than Kerry did. Obama is also competitive in more states than Kerry ever was.

10. Obama has more money than Kerry did in 2004 and he has benefited
from more positive press Also, Kerry has been lent him a hand or two and been around to have his back.

3. That is why when I voted here in Wisconsin last Monday I did not simply vote a straight Democratic
ticket. I wanted to have the pleasure and the pride of specifically connecting the line beside Obama/Biden. Then I went ahead and voted for the other Democrats.
