Freepers Are Dumber Than Dirt
Did any of them go to college?

Do any of them read?

Have any of them even taken Economics 101?

They are discussing the fact that the price for a barrel of oil is cratering and how it will help McCain:

Of course "cheap oil" is a good thing but the reason the price of oil is cratering is because the United States and the world is going into recession and future traders see much, much less demand for oil...So the price of cheap oil is a world wide recession which will result in negative economic growth, increased unemployment, and declining equities market....

They are really too dumb to breed...

1. On the other hand, Thom Hartman predicted prices would start dropping 3 months before the election.
And that this drop is due at least in part to deliberate manipulation to swing the election toward the Repukes.

4. I Don't Think So
This isn't an engineered price drop; this is a burst bubble of speculation, financial panic and plummmeting demand that has gripped the world and sent the oil people into consternation. OPEC and others are Not Pleased, not one bit.

Oil prices are not going to recover for at least a year, and more likely two years or maybe even more.

6. But home heating oil prices are either holding steady or rising.
Maybe a good, cold winter will reduce the number of old, conservative rural voters that survive to vote in 2010?

What if millions of young people decided NOT to get a flu shot this year and to volunteer as poll watchers in conservative districts?

7. If The Freepers Were Remotely Perceptive
If they were remotely perceptive they would note that cratering oil prices will weaken our adversaries such as Venezuela, Iran, and Russia...But the cost is a world wide recession...

2. Yes They Are
And they remain that way, despite education, experience, and disappointment. The one thing they have is faith in their fantasy world. That isn't enough for survival, but they hang together, so their social milieu supports and protects them when natural selection or man's law tries to thin out the herd.

And evidently the sex drive runs far too strong in them, for they are very successful breeders, with license to subdue and dominate and destroy the earth given from their God above.

5. Gold is down too, despite increased demand. Very weird.
I saw an interview with a coin dealer yesterday. He said he can't keep gold coins in stock but prices are down.

Wish I understood all this stuff. Then again, ignorance is bliss, so I probably don't.
