new mccain radio ad - dems want "lack of doctor choice" and "bureaucrats controlling care"
"obama wants to nationalize healthcare - how awful."

i thought to myself lack of choice in physicians
and bureaucrats controlling choices in care, so what's
new?

even those of us who can afford the exhorbitant premiums
for health care are dealing with that now!

does anybody else think that this is a poor ad strategy?

1. yawn......
Republicans would rather let the poor do without medical care, and for those who can afford healthcare, corporations get to make life and death decisions about the health of your children.

If you have an HMO, you have limited doctor choice anyway.

2. No, we just want the same federal subsidized socialist medical insurance that McCain gets.

3. Insurance already controls my doctor choice and care
This is always their argument and I do not know why Democrats don't throw it right back in their face. The only choice anybody has over their medical care is if they have hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay for it themselves.

4. I think it is.
The insurance I have right now requires referrals for everything. If I don't go to an approved provider for treatment I have to pay the first $5.000 myself. I am required to pay a co-pay for every "insured" service. Other than being uninsured how much worse could it get?

6. "Earth calling John McCain, can you hear me...?"
Yah know, I don't hate McCain and on a personal level I even admire him a little. It is too bad he is so completely dead wrong on almost everything.
