David Shuster & Michael Crowley slamming McCain for claiming OBAMA is going after Joe the plumber
They called it "ridiculous," saying it was MCCAIN who brought the guy's name up in the debate 21 times, that it was "Joe" who made himself available for interviews the next day, and the McCain campaign who's been using him. Obama has nothing to do with this-it's the media who's looking into the guy who MCCAIN "made famous."

18. MSNBC needs to fire Morning Joe and put David S. on instead
BTW, has David even been on Morning Joe since the big snit during the convention?

23. Doesn't the Vice President make less than 250K a year?
This is what is so absurd about this "Joe the Plumber" crap. I am fairly confident that the VP of the United States only makes about $210k or so per year (maybe other expenses push him over the $250k threshold).

So, McCain is inferring that your run of the mill plumber makes more than the damned Vice President of the United States. Hell, Joe Biden needs to become Joe the freaking Plumber.

Sorry if anyone else has already pointed out this before, but it is pissing me off.

6. Yup. And he's playing them again NOW and asking a Repub. surrogate why they're
doing it, and just asked her if she denounces some Repub. connected to Bill Ayers. (I missed the name.) She was stumped and claimed this is the first time she heard about it.

19. Did they let her slide
Andrea let some ex Gov of Missouri off today and he used the same excuse, he hadn't heard it yet. She then read the text of the commercial and said if you haven't heard it yet it wouldn't be fair to make you respond! ANDREA, HE JUST FUCKING HEARD IT.

The asswipe also went into a rant about 'him never hearing Obama disavowing Ayers bombings.' So if someone choses to be willfully ignorant and not listening to a readily available clip then he can continue to make disparaging comments that Obama never disavowed Ayers?

22. No. He didn't let her slide, but she claimed ignorance and he ended
by making a comment about it and saying, "But in any case..." She was clearly flummoxed. (She was on against a Dem. strategist-Chris Kofinis (sp?).

4. Glad to hear that they're pointing this out.
McCain's little October Surprise blew up in his face and now he's blaming Obama. Typical two year old behavior.

5. Yea, I heard that. It's another example of blaming anyone else for
your mistakes but NEVER YOURSELF!!! I couldn't do anything other than laugh when I heard McNuts say that! ANYONE who actually believes it doesn't even have the mental capacity of my CAT, and he's 23 years old!

17. I know. Other than becoming a demanding PIA in his old age, he's still
slim, trim & healthy. We got him from the humane society when he was only 6 weeks old, and when we went to the attendant to tell him which kitty we had chosen, he said "Oh, you want the crazy one!" He's been a great and crazy pet ever since.

This is becoming the most stupid distraction ever. McCain is such a loser and the buffoonery of our media is painful to watch.

Good for Shuster and Crowley, btw!

15. It's getting to be about who the REAL "Joe the plumber" IS, which is a GOOD thing since it
just goes to McCain's credibility.

13. And it was Sammy Joe who gave McNasty permission to reference him in the debate.
Sammy Joe and John Sidney are to blame for what's happened to Sammy Joe.

And I'll add that whatever horrible thing has happened to Sammy Joe is well deserved.
