Freepers debunk Newsweek poll

I know nobody wants to go to the "other" website, but if you do want to take the risk, there's a brilliant analysis of the flawed newsweek poll here:

To surmise, it basically says Bush's Real lead is about 8%, - not the 11% garbage Newsweak wants us to believe. Its still sickening to see Freepers gloating though.

Ah well. It will make victory even sweeter if they don't expect it :-)

There is currently much confusion and despair among Democrats about all the positive Bush news, the bogus 11 point lead in the polls, the new round of Kerry smear ads, Kerry’s been too quiet and not aggressive enough, blah, blah.

Bottom line is everything is fine and the Kerry-Edwards ticket is still doing well. You have to understand that in politics nothing on the surface, that is viewable by the public, is ever what is REALLY go on. It's sad, but true.

Secondly, I/we believe that September will be a very good month for the Kerry-Edward ticket, with substantial progress and gains in October. You have to understand that K-E/DNC had to hold back on the big bombs and surprises until after the Republican National Convention and the Labor Day Holiday, for several reasons both political and financial.

Also, the next two months, the ‘04 Presidential Election campaigns will be the dirtiest and most distorted on record, particularly coming from the Bush-Cheney-GOP and their Bush Family "Texas Mafia" relationships. So just plan on it and don’t get caught chasing your tail along with wasting time and energy.

There is many extremely sharp people here at DU that I can tell really care about this Country and it future! All we have to do is analyze the incoming information, determine what is accurate or fraudulent/smear, and then do something positive for the K-E campaign with the knowledge. Further, please don't under-estimate your resources.

In closing, the Kerry-Edwards ticket has the best chance of winning for the Democratic party since the 1960 John F. Kennedy-Lyndon B. Johnson Democratic ticket was successful. This statement is based on analysis of a myriad of factors. Further, there are very similar positive trends and dynamics between voters’ attitudes in the current Presidential election and the Clinton-H.W. Bush election in 1992, where the Democrats were successful. An election, that greatly shocked the H.W. Bush-GOP, and frankly more than a few key Clinton-DNC individuals when President Clinton slammed Bush 370/168 electoral votes!

I/we would be less than honest, if I didn’t state that the Kerry-Edward-DNC ticket is the strongest I have seen in 45 years of political experience.

This ’04 President Election is Kerry-Edwards to lose, NOT Bush-Cheney’s to win!
