This is what we need to rally around. If Dean/Clark or other has the ability to "energize" / organize thier campaign ...there are plenty enough bush mis-steps for ammo.

My opinion ..who is better organized not to be "media-conned". It's who the "people want"...screw the media and the DLC....it's about taking back the country from where it's at.

The dem's need a non-media grass roots machine to win...to energize and educate the masses.

I am anti-bush...I favor Dean becuase of this ability. If Clark wins than I would fight for him vs shrub.

We beat the heck out each on these boards...for what? It's changing people's opinions on the streets that count....becuase the media will control the spin --- only to have us screaming at the TV.

Energize your candidate's chances by engaging "converts"...informing republicans on why "change is needed".

That's what counts.

1. Unfortunately, the country needs a little persuading.
As evidenced by every poll which shows Chimp having a healthy lead agaisnt everyone.

Included in this persuasion must be the argument to suburban swing voters that while we Dems have better ideas about the environment, schools, and middle class economics--we also are running a guy who wont let evildoers blow up the kids.

Screw the media. You see, we can't screw the media they can only screw us--which howler, MWO, et all have proven they did in 2000 aand will certainly try to do again. If KKKarl wants the race to be about National security, believe me, it will be thanks to his buddies in the press.

Al we can do is run our strongest guy on what will unarguably be the issue in 2004.

2. Yelling against the media is a "feel good"...but goes nowhere
My point was I suspect whoever the dem candidate is will be abused by the press...

Therefore...I would rather have a candidate and grass roots effort that can "overcome" the negative anticipated slant and stick it to shrub.

I think Dean has that. In all honesty...I am not familiar with Clark's "grass root" ability.
