3. intersting snippet
The AP-Ipsos-Public Affairs poll showed minorities, urban residents and other Democratic voters unified behind Kerry, as would be expected in the fall. But he lost ground in virtually every other demographic group: lower educated voters, suburbanites, rural voters, the middle class, married couples and baby boomers.

5. Could be that these folks are not "Likely Voters"?
those demographics (lower educated voters, suburbanites, rural voters, the middle class, married couples and baby boomer's) seem to indicate that to me.

If so then I would not be too concerned. There will be a large number of voters that will be "under the radar" this Nov 2.

9. What i find even more interesting reading it a second time is
the fact that they slipped "middle class" in there like it is a whole seperate entity from the other demographics listed.

makes me question the writer.

4. Of course they do, because nobody's telling them how bad it really is...
The media is too busy figuring out if certain recently released documents are forgeries or not.

7. You are so right
When is someone going to do the big expose--on the media and how they have controlled this election?

6. They polled my cat

He was asleep so they just counted it as a YES vote for Bush.

8. When is everybody going to quit doing this to themselves? Do you
really think they're asking the people who have lost their jobs, their homes, filing for bankruptcy? They're also probably not asking part-time workers, the guys with the PHDs who are stocking grocery shelves, IT professionals, temps (like me), teachers in schools who have had their funding cut, etc.

These polls are bullshit.

10. Sadly, it is not a joke, it is true.
Probably 60% of the people in the country are doing great or at least OK. Unfortunately, not many of them give a friggin' rat's ass about the other 40% who are struggling mightily just to get by.

What a country!
