Poll question: If you could only have one of these things which would it be?
I know this is an artificial compromise but lets assume we get our choice of one high profile demand from the left.

2. I'd love to see Bill Richardson as SOS...
For me, that's the most realistic thing I'd like to have...

3. It is good to see the left
has its priorities if not straight, then at least orthogonal.

5. I'm rather disappointed that, so far, 25% of people
want, above all, to see the Republicans gain a Senator. Stripping Joementum of his chairmanship seems reasonable. Booting him from the party doesn't make sense in the slightest. He isn't going to leave the Senate until 2012, and he votes with the Dems four times out of five. That number isn't going to go up once the Republicans start offering him ranking member positions.

9. I'm still waiting for someone to make a rational case as to why we need to spend $40 Billion a Year
(NOT including costs of incarceration, mind you) "fighting" pot smoking.

Legalize it, regulate it, tax it and let consenting adults enjoy it just like they do alcohol.
