I feel that whoever Obama picks will be well suited for the job. He's come this far winning the election and I have full confidence in his cabinet posts.

As for Hillary, Richardson, etc. these posts seem to be ad nauseum. (I guess mine is also.) But people on here seem to NEED to fight about something. Bill, Hill, vetting, oh NOES.

1. I couldn't care less about it....it's Obama's decision, and I trust him to make the right choice.
Whatever that may be.

2. I don't care. I trust Obama's judgment.
I didn't send Obama a bunch of money, talk people into voting for him, and vote for him myself just to nitpick his every decision.

3. Obama will pick whoever he picks for very good reasons.
I voted for him, 2 times, primary and GE, and I trust him to do the job as well as he did the campaigns.

He didn't become less intelligent or astute since he won the election.

4. Even after Obama makes his choice the arguments will go on here.
Some just can't help themselves.

5. I'm only concerned about how Hispanics take Richardson being passed over for it
Damn we have to get this right. There has to be a high level Hispanic in this cabinet. I want a permanent Progressive majority. And we simply can't piss off the Hispanics. I'm really concerned about this.

7. I think Richardson's the best qualified for the job.
I wasn't crazy about him as a presidential candidate, but he would make a great SOS.

8. We've restarted the dirty wars in Latin America where both those people
and our people lose. Richardson would be perfect to change that course.

Then debate should start.

10. Eh, Obama's got this. These are the same chicken littles who freaked out in August when he lost the
lead over McLame. Obama is a smart guy, he went to Harvard. I trust he knows what he is doing, he only got 60 something million people to vote for him. Kerry, Clinton, Richardson, etc. will all be fine.

11. I'll be happy with whomever he chooses. He's done a fine job so far.
And it's HIS cabinet. He's the one who has to work with these folks on a daily basis.

I'm more concerned about Sarah Palin being Time Magazine's person of the year.

14. I'm hiding a lot of threads today...
It's really just all too much.

Unless one is privy to the inner workings and thoughts of Young Mr. Obama, one cannot possibly understand the whys and wherefores of his choices.

That said, I trust him. I'm so tired of being distrustful of my president. Obama would have to kill puppies on the white house steps to make me distrust him... metaphorically, of course.
