Nov 7- AP: "Lieberman in talks about caucusing with Senate GOP"
OK, now someone tell me WHY this guy should retain his Chairmanship, and next tell me what does our Party stand for if we coddle this snake?

Joe's RNC performance.... and the crowd went wild!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081107/ap_on_go_co/lieberman_republicans

A Lieberman aide, who requested anonymity because the talks are confidential, said Friday that Lieberman and McConnell, R-Ky., have spoken in recent days about the possibility of Lieberman joining the GOP conference. McConnell spokesman Don Stewart would only confirm that the two men have had recent discussions.

2. If he does that, it should be the final straw. Push him to the other side.
He will see how much they "love" him there.

3. Wow! Does he have any principles or values? WTF
You couldn't pay me to caucus with the GOP--my values do not change with the wind. He is a pathetic pathetic, desperate, sad excuse for a once democratic senator.

4. No, of course he has no principles or values.
It's all about Joe.

The people of Connecticut should have kicked him to the side when they had a chance. I wonder if they can recall him.

9. Can not recall a Senator
but what would work and would be even funnier is if the good folks of Connecticut declared him a persona non grata.

6. We've got to get a clear message to Obama.
We won't stand for Lieberman in our party. If he's in we're out. Period.

7. I think the Dems like having constant investigations of their presidents
Seeing as how they are doing everything in their power to insure a REPUBLICAN is the chair of one of the most important committees in the Senate.

LIEberman is full of bluster. So, he wants to caucus with the MINORITY party- let him. Obama is damned smart, and has enough crossover appeal that will likely win a few Repub votes-- and that is ALL we need. LIEberman has revealed his principles. He will betray his own party for selfish ambition. Screw him.

12. First, look at the date: 11 days ago. Two, once again, everything the media says is not true.

Still, I see no reasons for Lieberman to keep his leadership, because he was a poor chair to begin with, and because of his behavior during the campaign. But we live in a party where whatever was said during the campaign does not matter, so why is it surprising that we are not ousting him.

13. Yes, it is ONLY 11 days old and posted w/the date to remind all here how
a few short days ago LIEberman was flirting with the GOP, and using it as a wedge to threaten our party. It wasnt "the media" providing this info, it was a Lieberman aide talking to the media 'on background'. Quite intentional, I am sure.
