1. They know he's going to lose. Badly.
This is the final nail in the Bush boy's coffin. He can't get out of this one.

In his presidency's death throes, they've finally realized he fucked 'em good, and it's not been a pleasurable fuckin' either.

2. He disobeyed a direct order from a superior officer
and went AWOL during a time of armed conflict.

Both are serious felonies and neither carry a statute of limitations.

4. Well, I think that a lot of the "freepers" are paid disruptors
I think they work for pr firms that are on Rove's payroll. They don't think for themselves. They are literally Bush-bots sent to disrupt and confuse any information that makes BushCo look bad or makes Kerry look good.

Among the genuine freepers who don't want to believe in the memos, well, why would they want to start seeing the truth about their Beloved Leader now? Informed people are well aware of the truth by now. Among his True Believers, he could probably be caught on camera having sex with a cow and they would not believe their own eyes.

5. Even without the two so-called "fake" memos we now know Bush disobeyed...
... a direct order from a superior officer to get a physical exam.

CBS wants to know why. Obviously, ABC, FOX and NBC don't.

12. since you are new here...
this has been discussed for over at least two years here at du. there`s nothing new other than there are new docs that point out what we already knew. the thing is now some of the plot lines maybe being filled. it doesn`t take much to understand the hows and whys if one lived thru those times and understood how things were done. yes alot of people have done their homework about george bush`s cowardise but no one wanted to listen, the boston globe newspaper (?) reported all this -before- george was placed in power....

8. Bushypoo is trying to convince the rubes that he is a
strong, decisive leader with impeccable character and Christian credentials. The freepers may be pond scum, but they're smart enough to know that if Bush gets nailed on his true character, he is gone forever, and that it will spill over onto the rest of his rotten family (as it should). They have dreams of running Jebbie in 2008 to continue the march toward fascism, and they know this could wreck his chances, too.

Kerry needs to ignore the DLC and get out there and keep pounding Bush on the character issue. It's all Bush has left, and Kerry needs to nail the little bastard on his Village People macho masquerade.

9. Their shining hero has feet of clay
In fact he's a dishonest, spoiled little frat boy who got into the TANG through corruption and political croneyism, and then abandoned his sworn duties.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/06/politics/main641481.shtml

snip

The president's service record emerged as an issue during the 2000 race and again this winter. The Killian documents revived the issue of Mr. Bush's time in uniform after weeks in which Democratic challenger John Kerry, a decorated Vietnam combat veteran, has faced questions over his record as a Navy officer and an anti-war protester.

The questions about Mr. Bush's service center on how Mr. Bush got into the Guard and whether he fulfilled his duties during a period from mid-1972 to mid-1973.

What the Killian memos purport to show is that Mr. Bush defied a direct order to appear for a physical exam, that his performance as an officer was lacking in other ways and that Mr. Bush used family connections to try to quash any inquiry into his lapses.

In a separate development, the Boston Globe this week reported that Mr. Bush promised to sign up with a Boston-area unit when he left his Texas unit in 1973 to attend Harvard Business School. Mr. Bush never signed up with a Boston unit.

10. I think part of it is
how many times bush has said he's released all his records period end of story...and how many times more of his records are then released.

This last time of course was worst, coz he was forced to release more records (that he'd said many times previously were all released) under a LAWSUIT.

And the rightwingnuts/freepers have been shreaking over Kerry, accusing Kerry of not releasing his records.

Unfortunately for the freepers, Kerry HAS actually released ALL his records. The ONLY records he won't release are his personal medical records, (same as ush) but he DID allow reporters to view them (same as bush).

Guess freepers don't like the fact that bush lied, conned, duped and made total fools of them. :)

11. Hubby says...
freepers are angry at bush NOT being the demi-god of their dreams, so they're directing their anger at us for exposing bush as the lying bastard he really is. We've destroyed their fantasy world.

Too fcking bad, imo...bush has destroyed tens of thousands of lives.
