Mama Voted for Obama!
I just HAD to click on it; for those who haven't:

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful:
Cute kid's book for "Obama Mamas", November 15, 2008
By Cynical Guy (Marathon, FL USA) - See all my reviews
My daughter's mother is a big Obama supporter, and as our daughter is almost a year old, I bought her this book as a first birthday present for her mom to read to her. It's pretty cute, and it stays away from getting political ("Mama didn't vote for a llama; Mama voted for Obama!"), with only a fleeting reference to John McCain ("Some mamas voted for a man named John"). I appreciate that the most- she's only a year old, no need to prostetlyize anyone else's political inclinations onto her (not that it'd be appropriate at any age, of course). Still, if you or your child's "mama" voted for Obama, it's a cute kids book to have.

1. The page where it says she didn't vote for John
or a mastodon shows McCain holding the mastodon's tail and waving a red sign that says "No We Can't"

7. Mama didn't raise any "Arctic loons" either, I'm telling you.
My kids, all born mid to late 90s, inherited a "Babies Against Reagan" t-shirt from our friends whose daughter had long ago out grown it.

The Gipper was gone, but his legacy lived on.

6. Another classic.
A John Steinbeck adaptation if memory serves.
