You know what Huckabee's show isn't half bad
He gave a fair hearing to the Union guys. He might be RW but I find myself liking him aside from politics.

Of course I don't want him to ever be President. Of all the potentials for 2012 or 2016 I rank him as the most dangerous.

3. He doesn't scream. He's civil. He has good guests. (I enjoyed his interview of Oliver Stone.)
For a conservative, his show is sometimes worth watching.

5. Yeah but that shit would play well to people in their 40s-60s
Espicially with him playing the bass.

The guy has taken his pastoral experience and used it well.

52. A-hem. You can leave out the 40-somethings.
We were born in the 60s and came of age in the 70s-80s so that kind of music we don't relate to like the 50-60 year-olds do! lol

The Mothers of Invention, Doors, Led Zeppelin...not exactly Celine Dion.

6. He's a very charming and likeable fellow. I don't think he'll be running again though
I agree he could be formidable if he did, but there just doesn't seem to be a genuine fire in the belly for power with him.

I think he enjoys his talk show, and it will probably do well.

.... I think that's a VERY early sign that he will.

But I totally agree, very likeable guy. The most likeable Republican on Earth perhaps.

Fortunately, OUR guy is downright LOVEABLE. lol

Interesting, definitely.

I think that the next four years are going to look so much better than the last eight that it simply won't matter who they put up. Obama is going to be a two-term President, easily.

51. And TODAY he was pimping it in my hometown...
(Chattanooga TN)

When asked by one of our local reporters if he planned to run in '12, his answer was something along the lines of "well, I'm just trying to sell a book right now."

Def. did NOT get the impression that he was ruling it out.

But heck, *I* am not ruling out running either ha ha.

What the heck... he's a likable guy. And reasonable, with a sense of humor. :-)

I'd never vote for him, but I like him. He doesn't make me throw things at the TV or hit the mute button as soon as I see his face.

11. Huckabee is respectful
Most right wing nuts just talk over their guest because they don't like hearing someone tell them they are wrong. Having a RW nut who is actually respectful would be refreshing.

And I don't think Huckabee is a danger at all. He doesn't pass the "I can see that guy as president" test.

50. America and it's cult of personality
my theory (as a non US citizen or resident)is he is now becoming an established media identity. He has his own show and his mug is seen everywhere, Stewart, The View, Maher etc. Now, as America is addicted to the cult of personality should he decide to run again I see him as in with a chance. For example, ever reliable California voted for a Republican for governor. The republican of course is a movie star. Minnesota elected a professional wrestler (actor) for Governor. Other examples include Clint Eastwood and Sonny Bono and I am sure there are others. Would Franken have his recount if he was not seen on TV?

So, look out for Huckabee to be a force in 2012. Not that he will beat our man Obama, who will become one of the greatest presidents in US history.

Peace

when Hannity was grilling him on the radio last year about that prisoner that he released that murdered again, he was genuinely upset, so upset that I couldn't imagine that he didn't learn his lesson

But Hannity kept going and going, and a few days later he still had it in for Huckabee.
