10. Be thankful that President-Elect Obama is more forgiving than James "Judas" Carville
Can't wait for Hillary to meet with America's enemies without preconditions. Barack's not so "naive" now, eh? :)

11. She beat the sexism on the left and right ...
... and will be a great Secretary of State and help to Obama. As a strong Obama supporter, I think this is great news and shows why Obama will make a great president.

13. while I'm not thrilled with the choice, I certainly understand it . . .
first, Hillary is well qualified for the job, and has a high international profile as well . . .

second, it's all about "keeping your friends close, and your enemies closer" . . . not saying that Hillary is an enemy, but having her in his employ negates any chance that she could become one . . .

because third, removing her from the Senate essentially prevents her from establishing a competing electoral power base . . . as an executive employee, she will have to implement Obama's policies and stand behind his decisions . . . were she to remain in the Senate, she would have had the option of disagreeing with this policy or that, and a huge mailing list of contributors ready to back her in 2012 should Obama falter . . . she no longer has that option . . .

all in all a wise choice, imo . . . by employing her considerable skills in his service while simultaneously preventing her from establishing a competing power base in the party, Obama has solved two problems with one stroke . . . nice . . .
