Edited on Mon Dec-01-08 03:36 PM by Truth Hurts A Lot
while she was a US Attorney with regard to clearing Sheriff Joe Arpaio. He seems to be hinting that she might run into problems being confirmed.

1. She did cozy up to Arpaio back in the day.
There's a scathing New Times article about this.

I'd rather Napolitano stay here to fight off the Republican state legislature and take McCain's seat, but I'm sure Obama knows what he's doing.

2. When she leaves, we are screwn.
Someone here described her as our own Katherine Harris. I think she's worse.

3. A little more than a hint I think. Sanchez is the only one of a short list
who can call themselves jouranlists. He takes on the stories most avoid. Like the AIP. He did a nice job and no one else picked up on it.

6. Kicked to say he covered her again today with stories of how Latinos
were profiled and arrested due to suspicions of being "illegal." If someone was targeted and couldn't immediately produce a birth certificate, then they would be arrested. The guest said that Napolitano looked the other way to further her career.
