OK, I have a prediction to make, hear me out
Caroline Bouvier Kennedy Schlossberg one of my heroes, and a great lady, gets the nod to complete Hillary Clinton's term as Senator from the great state of NY. (She was born in NYC on November 27 1957, making her 51). She completes Hillary's term (Hillary stays on as Barack's SOS for BOTH his terms as President) and in 2016, when Mrs. Schlossberg is 59, she runs for President of the United States, winning handily due to her pledge to continue to carry out the amazing policies of Barack Obama's two terms.

Have at it.

8. She just might do it who knows
I could go for that enthusiastically even if its a temporary job

You know, she was
mentioned as having a shot as the UN ambassador, so who knows?

You think she has a shot? I'm not up on state politics in NY.

10. Depends on if she has a good relationship with Governor Patterson, IMHO.

3. Not a bad idea, but Caroline Kennedy will NEVER run for prez.
And it's doubtful she'd even accept the Senate seat as she has expressed not wanting to leave NY.

6. Does she actually live in New York?
If a Kennedy gets it, it probably should be Bobby Jr., as that's his dad's seat.

Sadly, Caroline's father's seat will probably be available before too long. It's currently occupied by her Uncle Teddy :(

11. I think NY NEEDS another smart woman as it's Senator
and maybe if she doesn't run for President in 2016, maybe she'll have run for re-election for the Senate seat (in a landslide).

17. It would certainly be popular with women in the state, particularly NYC women
who were strong Hillary supporters. Even tho Caroline is "softer" than they, she would still be a fave with them -- lives in the city, memories of Camelot, her demeanor during the campaign. I think a lot of the primary bitterness would be overcome with her as Senator...

12. That would be cool. But I would like to see someone like Andrew Cuomo get it
Someone who is still young and would keep the seat for a while
