(Gov. Jindal)

(Gov. Schwarzenegger )

Sorry, no pie recipe, but I imagine someone was eating some crow! :)

And here's ONE more pic....
"President-elect Barack Obama, left, stops to greet school children across the street from where his motorcade was parked, Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, in Philadelphia, Pa."

38. She looks very uncomfortable.. like she actually realizes...
that she is outside her element.... Her schtick doesn't work with her far more educated, aware, and competent colleagues.

and be done with it.

Oh and Arnold, hows them scrawny legs and arms look now?

Funny that of all the hundreds of pics I've recently seen from the campaign, this is the worst picture of Obama I've come across.

.... we have that clause about how the President has to be natural born.

And that's all I'll say on that lol

8. I am actually surprised he didn't make a point to shake her hand for the cameras....
... this is one of the FEW times he hasn't acted in a way I expected.

I guess he draws the line at reconcilliation away from those who encourage death threats against him.

Works for me!

9. Good point, I'm sure he remembers how Michelle felt
during the campaign as Palin whipped up her crowds.

From Newsweek: "-- The Obama campaign was provided with reports from the Secret Service showing a sharp and very disturbing increase in threats to Obama in September and early October, at the same time that the crowds at Palin rallies became more frenzied. Michelle Obama was shaken by the vituperative crowds and the hot rhetoric from the GOP candidates. "Why would they try to make people hate us?" Michelle Obama said to a top campaign aide."

11. And you KNOW that thing Joe said was orchestrated...
... "By the way, the govs. are seated according to when their states entered the union..." (to explain why she was seated in the back)

and "ha ha Gov. Palin, joke joke joke" so they couldn't be accused of snubbing her.

Barack and Joe dont take a BREATH in public without planning it first.

I think is some ways, she was harsher on Obama than McCain was. And, really, who was she to smear him the way she did? A little-known governor of a state with a tiny populace.

He may also be aware that everything she does is geared toward attention on her and her presidential aspirations. Why provide an opportunity for her to do more preening for the cameras?

Edited to correct a grievous spelling error.

22. I think Obama can take criticism
I have gotten the feeling that he wants to keep communication channels open between his office and the electorate and that he is not going to lead the country in a vacuum.

I think we are very fortunate to have him.

after Obama spoke. I wish C-Span would have continued coverage. It would have been interesting. I liked it when Barack mentioned the Republican governors in particular, that they would also have his ear.

25. In that first video, did you hear him ask Gov Perry of Texas
about Galveston? How wonderful, he hasn't forgotten about the people and the troubles - he is caring.

Perry replies "FEMA is slow, I'll talk to Janet about it" - Obama responds, "she will wipe it into shape."

They do know what is going on, what a relief.

32. All governors are hurting right now. My Repub gov. Jodi Rell
said there will probably be budget deficit in CT this year. They know the writing on the wall. Once the economy tanks, they are hit hardest in their budgets. I bet all the governors, even Palin want some help.
