Democrats expect Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.) to be tapped U.S. Trade Rep. Dem officials say Becerra, who just became vice-chair of the House caucus and is gaining seniority on Ways and Means, was not inclined to accept the post but that he's likely to change his mind after direct lobbying from the pres-elect.
