Oprah: Sarah Palin Snubbed Me
It's not Oprah Winfrey's fault that former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin hasn't been a guest on her talk show yet! Winfrey declared, "I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over... I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta . She talked to Matt . She talked to Larry . But she didn't talk to me. But maybe she'll talk to me now that she has a book deal."

When asked if Oprah will have Barack Obama on the show, she responded, "There's always an open invitation for the president-elect and first lady."

"Extra's" AJ Calloway caught up with Winfrey at last night's Alvin Ailey Dance Theater's 50th anniversary celebration where she served as honorary chair. Winfrey joked, "In my wildest, wildest, crazy, crazy dreams, I am a dancer...When I've like had too many tequila shots and I go to sleep, I dream of being a dancer."

AND - Winfrey told Calloway the one thing that she had to rescue when the Santa Barbara wildfires threatened her home was a book of letters from Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey and all the young ladies who attended her Legends Ball. Winfrey exclaimed, "So when the fires were coming and the flames were a blowin', I said, 'Get my letters!'"

2. According to state ethics rules,
from what I understand, she can't make any money off a book while she's governor. Of course, little things like ethics regulations haven't stopped her from pretty much doing whatever she likes, so we'll see.

12. Bwahaha! I'm sure Oprah's
really disappointed.

:D

Sarah might find out she picked the wrong "terraist" to pick a fight with. ;-)

17. wait, wait, give me a second... I'm laughing too hard.... Palin has a (sputter, gasp)
BOOK, coming out? With actual words? Actual words that - when strung together form actual coherent sentences? ...Sentences with something remotely akin to (gasp, giggle) substantive thought?

Really?

Oh, man, that is just too funny for punch.

Wait, let me guess... the only way Palin could have a book coming out is if she is not (and very far from - by legal writ, hopefully) the actual writer. Crayons are to highbrow for this one... even the broken ones. Even the broken white ones that even 1st graders despise...

Sorry for the sarcasm, but my gob has been smacked with the mere idea of Palin putting more than 2 words together that actually make useful sense, much less enough sense to be published - much MUCH less enough sense to be printed and (guffaw, sniff, sigh) bought! Oh heck... hilarity follows this woman like mud follows rainstorms and children.

This is too much... a book? No....

Really?

6. Good. That's what Oprah gets for inviting her to be on.
It's not unusual for the GOP to fawn over imbiciles, but I thought Oprah would have higher standards. You know, like you have to have a brain and be able to speak coherently. Guess I was wrong.

7. She can't be on Oprah's show
Edited on Thu Dec-04-08 06:49 PM by wryter2000
If she did, she'd be palling around with someone who pals around with someone who pals around with terra-ists.

Unless Oprah really only pals around with Michelle, in which case she'd be palling around with someone who pals around with someone who's married to someone who pals around with terra-ists.

Don't even ask me if Oprah pals around with Sasha and Malia. Or the dog. Please, please don't ask me about the dog.

13. Falin wrote...... a book? With words and sentences??
Sorry, I just can't believe that.

I do know that I feel sorry for whoever is ghostwriting that book and has to make sense of the jumble of words she'll spew.

15. OMG! It's Snubgate II !!!!
Look Oprah, at least she pretended to be distracted by Greta Van, Matt Lauer and Larry King rather than (ahem) Claire McCaskill. And I'm betting Bible Spice didn't shove past a dying Ted Kennedy in the execution of a rapid 180% turn to avoid La Winfrey - probably just didn't return her calls.

21. It's fairly clear that Oprah snubbed Palin first.
A Republican running-mate stalled until an unspecified time after the election?

I applaud Oprah for denying Palin airtime, but good grief, she oughta be honest about it.

I'd rather watch Dr. what's his name talk about poop.
