December 1 - They are lost beyond this date!
Edited on Fri Dec-05-08 05:49 PM by firedupdem
Based on conversations on Hardball today. Obama really needs to get in there and direct congress because they are completely lost and unable to make a decision regarding the loan for the automotive industry. They have no leadership and they are all running around not knowing what to do. I guess in the future a new president should take over by December 1st or we really are a country WITHOUT leadership.

What the fuck is wrong with Congress? Do they really need the president to tell them what to do? If they are that lost they need NOT be in congress.

That's my opinion....am I missing something? Why can't they make a fucking decision regarding a loan to keep 4 million people employed?

** What the fuck is Bush still hanging around for and why is he not being told to get involved?

2. I agree. Infact what really should happen is that Obama and Bush should make a joint statement
to get it done.

Bush, because he is our president and Obama because is he is the one that everyone really wants to hear from.

6. If they did that, people would get a clue that this is not a time for partisan politics.
I get so sick of congress and their damn games.

4. I don't understand it either
I couldn't understand Barney Frank publically critizing Obama and asking him to get involved. It imagined that Frank would have easier access to Obama and wouldn't need to take it to the press.

7. I will never understand that. Amazing...I just keep saying....
He's not the President yet! I guess Bush doesn't give a shit so them making a joint statement isn't going to happen. Congress acting lost is really ridiculous!
