I'll never forget the moment I heard the news. After putting in an 19-hour day at our local Obama headquarters, I walked into the Charleston SC Longshoremens' Union Hall just as the election was called. The crowd of 2000 went crazy and I leaned against a wall and cried like a baby.

I'm sitting at my computer - with goosebumps laughing like a crazy person! I can't believe how just watching these videos made me relive that incredible feeling from election night!

It's really nice to see these since I didn't hear a word that any of the commentators said for about an hour after "We project Sen. Barack Obama elected president" because of all of the whooping and hollering and crying and dancing at our place. Now I can hear what they actually said.

when you are not thinking about it. Like waking up in the morning and you think (as Josh Marshal posted today) HOLY COW. Obama is going to be president.

I've done it a number of times since the election. I hope it never goes away.
