Obama Defends Republic Windows and Doors Workers

In this situation, where the Bank of America refused credit and forced a company to shut down and not pay the workers:

Obama came out for the workers:

2. I don't know when I ever heard a American
President Republican or Democrat actually take the side of workers. I also heard Obama this morning say he supports the 2nd Amendment and will not take our guns and to take him at his word. I hope that shuts up the gun grabbers on DU.

3. I love my new vinyl windows from Republic
They make a quality product. Best $ I ever spent on my house. I am bummed out about my warranty but more important I hope the workers get what is owed to them.

5. Republic Windows and Doors is breaking the law
Pure and simple.
When a company employs 50 or more people and plans to terminate them, the company has to give 60 days notice. It's real simple. I have been through this crap twice and have a damn good idea of what I am talking about. It's called the Move law or something along those lines.
