I am really angry

I really am angry about this whole thing. The media and the GOP have been obsessing about Obama's non-existent connection to Bagojevitch, basing it on the fact that someone, somewhere in the Obama campaign REFUSED the pay-to-play schemes. So they did the RIGHT thing, but everyone wants the juicy details hoping for a tiny smudge somewhere in it that they can rant about. Meanwhile, the sky is literally falling as of today. These GOP Senators should be impeached for malpractice or whatever one would call this criminal irresponsibility toward the country's needs.

there's somebody backsliding on a non-smoking pledge.

If there's no Obama connection, then there's no story. So of course the media is going on a hunt. Problem is, they may find somebody in Obama's camp who actually spoke to a governor's aide, and Obama gets stuck trying to prove no involvement. Big waste of time.

And the GOP is looking for anything to pin on Obama. That's their job as the minority party. The GOP is just better organized when it comes to casting asparagus. Might as well get used to it.

2. Look, SOMEONE in the Obama camp *HAD* to talk to teh Blago-sphere...

if nothing else than to tell them to take a flying leap. Be of good cheer though. This gov has been radioactive for about three years now. Obama's transition camp would not be that stupid. So let them hunt. Just like the birth certificate and others, it ONLY winds up helping us in the end by making Obama look even better than before.
