Maybe a day or two....But this is ridiculous ...

I don't think that Bush's pardon of Libby even got that much coverage..Blago is nuts and corrupt. He will resign. Comments?

1. What makes you think he'll resign?
He's my governor (though I didn't vote for him), so it matters to me.

5. I think he will resing tonight, or tomorrow...light news day.
Why do I think so? (Oh, and he is my governor too)..because even insane people know when you must give up and you have lost.

Yes, he is insane, corrupt and arrogant. But someone there will set him straight. Even Nixon resigned.

10. He's even crazier than Nixon. I had breakfast with a parishioner
who was at a meeting with some state employees yesterday. They say he's going on as if nothing has happened.

He won't resign.

2. Yes. But then, doesn't that mean a corrupt president should have been worth more?
It's not the coverage of Blago I resent, it's the lack of coverage of BushCo's crimes.

9. Bush has done plenty of crap that is much worse, but the media turns a blind eye to all of that.
Outting a CIA agent during a time of war is a pretty serious crime.

3. We've never had corruption at this level before

Since Watergate, we've had nothing like it. The novelty of it may wear off, but for now it is just stunning that a governor and a senate seat are involved in something like this.

11. I agree...the fact that he is a Democrat..makes this one go on a few more days.
If he was repug...this wouldn't last this long.

8. Its only because he tried to sell the prez-elects seat. If the AZ Gov did this with McCain then it
would still be news. However, they are trying to look for ties to Blago and there aren't any.
