Edited on Fri Dec-12-08 10:31 PM by Jake3463
and just say. Hey America, next time you are told there is no difference between the two parties and the media tells you, you should vote for the guy you want to have a beer with remember the last 8 years. This didn't have to happen.

I think that * should just have enough humility to leave Washington quietly and depart for the netherworld so that he won't be seen again.

13. No, It would be terrible the day before Obama's day
I doubt either of these two principled, moral men would consider doing that because it would be tacky. I think many Bush voters do regret their votes. Both of them have already shown that their response to the way both were mistreated by the media and some powers was to continue what both did all their lives - fight for the values that they believe in to the core of their beings.

The fact is that I would bet the vast majority of people if they could actually meet Bush, Kerry and Gore would have chosen either Democrat if they needed help in an emergency, needed an answer to a question (where the wrong answer would have consequences) .. and to have a beer with. The problem was that the media painted a pleasant picture of a man they knew had been a mean drunk a decade before when his father was President and a very distorted picture of both Kerry and Gore.

15. Totally agee with you and a big part of the smearing was done by Chris Matthews
and now there are DUers lauding him as a great pick for the Penn. Democratic nomination for Senate.

I guess some memories are short. Tweety repeated every RW lie about Gore ad hominem.

:puke:

18. True, he was horrible to Gore
Edited on Sat Dec-13-08 06:08 PM by karynnj
positively schizophrenic with Kerry (though more often bad than good - all the while saying they were friends - which only made the negative comments worse) and he was seriously enamored with Bush.

This year he was awful to Hillary Clinton at times - many times - and this is said by someone who was not sympathetic to her.

21. well they might want to and we might want them to, but I doubt any network would give time for a
speech like that. But attention will be totally on Obama on 1/19 with his pre-inagural gala, etc.
