Rooney is the party chairman and close to Rendell. Till Rendell is out of office by term limits he can make or break you party wise in PA.

and its the first headline on the offical PA democratic website. Go to the Building Blue Headlines

I'll know for sure January 19th at the Innagural eve party in DC. If Matthews is there...He is running.

1. When asked why their was not more deligent investigative
reporting to the run up to the war, or the lack of effort to rescue drowning people, and or the lack of coverage of our dead soldiers will he claim he did his best? It makes me wonder, if that is the best he has as a journalist, what efforts will be for the next job he wants to take on?

2. He's lining up the party establishment
It will be interesting to see if anyone has the courage to take the Rendell machine on before it dies its natural death in January 2011.

3. Sounds like Rendell is behind him. So he'll likely run.
And if Obama campaigns for him in the Philly area, he'll likely take Specter out
