we cannot heel our nation if we do not condemn this act of pedestrian violence.

even though shrub has no sole, and perhaps the attacker was merely offering some to try on for size, we must unfortunately support our arch villain on this one. i know this treads on dangerous ground on a liberal discussion board, but violence is wrong. if you canvas all the du'ers, you'd find plenty of support for the shoe thrower. i'm simply not going to toe the line on this one.

there are probably a dozen holes in this theory, but i will knot be tied to the party line nor will i bow to the majority. yes, i've got a pair and i'm left with what's right. so give me your best tongue-lashing.

3. This whole thing has me fit to be tied!
I don't want to step on any toes here, but this is really a "Shoo fly, don't bother me" situation.

5. I'm impressed. You made it last...
...despite the cobbled-together nature of your post. And it was funny, to boot.

6. I think it's ironic due to the silly airport rules of taking off your shoes
in the security line.

I wonder if press conference goers will now be required to take off their shoes, in the spirit of false & useless precautions.

8. It is a knotty problem...
Obviously, there were a few loafers on SS duty. They should pull themselves up by their bootstraps!

I just hope this doesn't become a wedge issue for the media to pump, while others endlessly flip-flop.
