Poll: Blago Mess Not Touching Obama
Speaking of polling on the Blago mess, another poll has now come out testing whether it's harming Obama, and the conclusion seems to be a pretty clear No.

From a new Washington Post/ABC News poll:

Do you think Obama has or has not done enough to explain any discussions his representative may have had with Blagojevich about the Senate seat?

Has: 51%

Has not: 34%

No opinion: 14%

A majority says he's done enough -- and keep in mind that this comes in advance of his promised release of any and all info about contacts between the Obama and Blago camps. If pollsters were to ask whether people think the Obama camp has done anything wrong in connection with the Blago mess, it's our bet that the numbers would be still better.

Of course, we still don't know what the Obama team's internal probe will ultimately find or what else will come out. But so far so good: The poll also finds that 76% now approve of the way he's handling the transition, despite the roar of media coverage saying he'll inevitably be "dogged" by the scandal in some way.

4. Blagojevich's profanity-laden spew about Obama only willing to give him appreciation did the trick.

gives no indication if they are referring to a top aide or Obama. It's also dubious to lump somewhat likely with very likely. If the other categories are combined, 46% say it's not likely. More interesting is that the highest number 35% believe it's not very likely.

3* How likely is it that President-elect Obama or one of his top campaign aides was involved in the Blagojevich scandal?

23% Very likely

22% Somewhat likely

35% Not very likely

11% Not at all likely

10% Not sure

9. Well duh. That makes sense since he had no involvement.
This whole media crusade to find some way to connect Obama to Blago's bullshit is fucking appalling. The US Attorney explicitly said that Obama was not involved, Obama said he was "absolutely certain" he staff was not involved in wrongdoing. Yet the media keeps implying that there are all these questions hanging out there. What fucking questions?????

Did Rahm talk to Blago??? Who gives a shit. The only question that matters is, did Rahm or anyone on Obama's team engage in discussion of buying/selling Obama's senate seat or any other illegality, and the answer is NO. No from Patrick Fitzgerald. No from Obama.

WTF????

Lynn Sweet, Chicago Trib(?), just said it again on Tweety. "There are all these questions hanging out there?" WHAT FUCKING QUESTIONS, Lynn?!

10. They obviously ain't got shit to do.....these "Journalists"....
guess they don't know how to report on the real issues, like the economy, energy, and national security. I guess that all they know now that a Democrat is coming back into the White House are scandals, or making shit up as they along garbage, as I see it.

They don't know yet that they are part of what needs to "change" that the electorate voted for.

Someone is going to need to give them a clue.

Ayers and Wright so they're hoping for paydirt with blago. Not gonna happen..the only thing it's succeeding in doing is outing them.
