This guy is the worst of Hypocrites. He chose her as a running mate because he thought women were stupid. He took a chance that we could end up having her as our President. He won't support her run because, heck then she would be his President. Why didn't he choose one of these young governors he mentions in this article?

2. I saw McCain play with his wedding ring enough to know exactly why he picked her.

6. Bom chicka wah-wah...
I saw a picture of Barack Obama checking out his wife in pretty much the same way, and he damn sure wasn't playing with his ring.

4. You're so right. At least Kerry supported Edwards in 2008
And Gore totally backed Lieberman in 2004.

Oh wait...never mind.

8. Edwards trashed John and Teresa. He should have never expected his support.

5. I'm not so sure McCain even CHOSE Palin as his running mate
I'm thinking that someone in the RNC foisted Palin on McCain and said she'd be great for shoring up the base. McCain was under enough pressure to bring her onto the ticket. The rest is history and spoofs by Tina Fey.

9. Will he still be here in 4 years to support her?
God forbid he isn't, but the type of abuse he endured in his youth tend to take years off the back end. One of the main reason's I chose Obama was fear that McCain would die in office, leaving Palin in charge.

11. Straight Talk Johnny is a free man now.
He looked better than I've seen him in a long time. He no longer has to kowtow to every right wing loonytune. He can be who his is which is your basic (and almost extinct) Goldwater Republican deficit hawk who couldn't give a flying fuck who you happen to be fucking.

It must be a liberating feeling for the old boy.

12. I don't begrudge McCain for being honest about this.
He never wanted Palin. He was a moderate in the GOP and had a hard time getting base support and in a weak and desperate moment allowed her to be forced on him by the RNC. It was clear that they were never on the same page in the campaign and afterwards we heard about the backstage tiffs and negative feelings. So now that he's free from the campaign and not likely to run again, he can be more honest with himself and us and admit that he does not see Palin in a presidential light. I really don't have a lot of bad feelings for this guy anymore, looking back on the campaign, the majority of the nastiness came out of her mouth, the RNC paid commercial and robocalls and smear emails, not from him. His biggest fault, not being man enough to stand up and be himself and say he wasn't going to run HIS campaign like that. Aw well Hindsight is 20/20 and I wish him the best.
Palin can still go to hell!

14. She was never his choice to begin with.

He wanted LIEbermann but the ReichWing balked at it and they foisted Palin on him.
Faced with little options, he called her up while medicated and saw a photo of her in a dress and blam-o!

Now he has buyer's remorse. What can I say? Buyer beware...?
