Edited on Mon Dec-15-08 10:05 PM by FrenchieCat
Damn....it makes me mad that Caroline Kennedy is not from California! I'd trade that Money Bag Warhawk Experienced Feinstein without saying another word.

New Yorkers are fucking spoiled with their riches. While we in California as stuck with our iron maiden...who's thinking of running for Governor! (Oh Lordee!)

Can we arrange a trade? Cause an earnest, sincere, non-pol, reserved but dedicated senator would be a hell of a trade, and really, really good for us here in California.

No wheeling or dealing and calculating, and probably a good reliable vote for our President as he marches us into the 21st Century is nothing to turn one's nose up at.

Boxer is great, but that ain't enough.

Damn!

lessee...War Profiter vs. Philanthropist

We've got one good one....just need a replacement for that other one that pretends to be a Democrat when it's convenient.

9. I've lived at different points of my life in both states. I think DiFi
is just a compromised soul, but from way back. I've always loved Barbara Boxer.

And I think the polling in New York makes a strong case for CKS for that Senate seat.

20. Regular New Yorkers DO like her -- she's the preferred candidate of twice
as many Democrats as the next in line (Andrew Cuomo), with 46% saying she's their first choice.

You couldn't tell this, though, by reading DU.

...if you take Saxby Chambliss. Is it a deal? :P

Feinstein ain't perfect, but she's a sight better than what we have here in Georgia. Be thankful that, in Boxer, you have one decent Senator, at least. :hi:

So only the male side of a family matters.

Maria is just as much of a Kennedy as Caroline is .... unless you are a male chauvenist.

39. Well, I'm not a New Yorker, and it would be up to them, but
I like Caroline. We need a progressive in that seat. I think Caroline serving in that capacity would irk Schumer...another name bigger than his, even though he's supposed to be the SENIOR Senator from NY. Another reason to like Caroline.

Arnold needs to go by the way of Rod Blagojevich. And fast.

In fact, it's time for Californians to send Arnold their shoes.
