1. I saw the Taj Mahal Trio at Yoshi's in Oakland on Thursday.
He did a tribute to Slim, slid 4 or 5 songs together.

3. Man, he hasn't lost a thing.
If anything, he is still getting better.

His Take a Giant Step/de Ol' Folks at Home album changed the way I looked at music. I listened to that stuff and decided to slur it all together, make it mine.

I say we take Tenet's Medal of Freedom back and give it to Taj Mahal.
