Joe Biden- prophet or loose cannon? was he thinking about times like these?

“And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you - not financially to help him - we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

1. He is totally prophetic in more ways than folks realize.

2. Neither.
He's not a prophet but wise, educated and experienced, and too smart to 'go off half-cocked.'

3. Joe has been in the Senate for over 35 years
Edited on Tue Dec-23-08 09:20 AM by Jennicut
I think he has seen a lot and has a lot of experience in knowing what might happen in the world, his statement was about foreign policy and not domestic issues. Remember he has seen 7 presidents come and go, as hard as that is to believe considering he is only 66 and not in his 80's. He was elected at an absurdly young age to the Senate, at 29 and then turned 30 in November on '72, three years younger than I am now. I could not imagine being a Senator at my age.

4. Why do you ask the question? What did he statement mean to you?
Did you feel a twinge of fear? Were you offended by that? Did you think it was going to be easy? Did you think YOUR work was all done when you voted for Obama?

Comments?

5. I ask the question because when Biden made intially made those comments
I really was puzzled by exactly what he meant. Now I am thinking he was referring to situations, like this one with Warren.

7. His statement was never about anything domestically though
It was to do with rogue countries and their wanting to test Obama.

6. Joe Biden is the wisest sage in all the land....
... why do you think he was picked?

And he's also supersuperhot.

And as we all know, he points really well...
