Ind. lawsuit challenges Obama's eligibility
These people will never give up! The courts should make them pay for the cost in time and money to the taxpayers to respond to these frivolous lawsuits. Where is the GOP complaint on what they called "frivolous" lawsuits when they were pushing for tort "reform" (another way to stick it to the little guy fighting the big corporations).

Ind. lawsuit challenges Obama's eligibility

Updated: Dec 25, 2008 07:28 PM EST

Indianapolis - Two Indiana men have filed a lawsuit claiming that Barack Obama is not eligible to serve as president.

The suit, like some others that have stalled in federal courts, questions whether Obama meets the constitutional requirement that the president must be a "natural born citizen."

The suit was filed in Marion Superior Court in Indianapolis by Steve Ankeny, New Castle, and Bill Kruse, Roselawn, The Indianapolis Star reported Thursday.

It names Gov. Mitch Daniels and the Republican and Democratic national committees as defendants, saying they failed to uphold the Constitution when they certified results of the November election.

It asks Judge David Dreyer to throw out the election results.

The suit is one of five similar challenges. The others were filed in Alabama, Georgia, Illinois and Michigan, Ankeny said.

4. Never because it will be used
as a fund raising tool.

I wish they had been as concerned about Bush's lack of National Guard Service. Of course when THAT was brought up we were told to drop it and that it had no bearing on the election.

Oy!

5. Defending against their lawsuits cost time and money
and the taxpayers have to foot the bill.

7. Of course but those who filed the lawsuit
can still use the issue to raise money.

If they are lawyers I hope they get a smack down by the judge for wasting court time.

6. I sure am glad that someone alerted us to Obama's chicanery in that e-mail chain.
They were able to catch something that the media, all of our elected officials and the FEC missed.

Phew.

11. I wish I knew. They should be sued!
There is a cottage cheese industry on Obama, as it was on the Clintons. These are people to which irrational beliefs, what they call faith-based, is what fills their empty, shallow lives.

15. I think Repugnican Phillip Berg is living off this, but he's only the face of those who are pushing
the thing. I'd LOVE to know who's financing this. I couldn't find anything on the Internet. Wish the Secret Service, FBI, etc. would bug Berg's house. We'd find out in a jiffy who's behind it.

16. Look, I know you guys don't know me, and I'm not part of the usual
gang of suspects that haunt these pages but please listen...

The fact that they lost an election means NOTHING to these people. They will come back again and again and again, breeding in the darkness like roaches and scrambling for cover when the light shines on them. The war is NOT over just because the Great Moderator is heading for the White House. What must happen is the progressives must reject compromise and accomodation whenever we are dealing with the real REPukes. They must be stymied, stalled and scuttled at every opportunity so that the political opportunists in our society will understand that they had better be on OUR side.

I said it in 2000 and in 2004: the only way the left will be taken seriously is if one (1) particularly odious politician is isolated and brought down in ruins. We should be able to focus enough energy and resources to smash any one of these bozos, and after one or two go down in flames the rest will find away to accomodate the left.

In the meantime EVERYONE should unite in an effort to dismantle and abolish the media oligarchies that have contributed so much to the war on freedom we are suffering even at the present moment.

"Equal time?" Great. Limited ownership in any region? Better. Elimination of Faux News and comedians like Linbaugh, Hannity and O'Rielly, even better.

Take down the monopolies among the media and you will have struck a giant blow in defense of the Constitution and true American democracy.

Or we can sit on our hands and wait for the REPukes and their like to take over again, as they most certainly will. They may be crazy, but they have no illusions.

and the suit will be thrown out just like the others. Not to mention the fact that McCain and Obama being sitting senators has nothing to do with their eligibility (which the suit says).

A group of concerned citizens have filed their 1234567125667th lawsuit arguing that President Obama is not eligible to be President.

Oct. 15, 3090 Another complaint to have the late Pres Obama's name removed from the list of Presidents has been refused by the Supreme Court

22. Elligibility to breed: have you ever participated in an Obama eligibility lawsuit?
If yes, sever your reproductive organs and kindly burn them with fire so as to remove your contaminated genetic slop from the pool.

But I'm not too worried - the SCOTUS already shot down several of these lawsuits. This one won't fare any better.
