Voinovich to announce retirement on Monday
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0109/17324.html

That would make him the fourth republican senator to announce his retirement in 2010, and give us another opportunity to pick up an open senate seat.

1. Good. I was so glad to hear Kit Bond was retiring.
Now Missouri can elect Robin, and have two women Senators :)

6. Tim Ryan is the name that came to my mind also
Don't know if he is well known enough yet, but he would be a good senator.

5. Good, great...wonderful!!!
Cry me a river Voinovich retires. What, it's not so fun to be in DC if you have to follow the laws. Let me guess, you'll write a book about how you always wanted to do the right thing but no one would let you!

Let's make a list of the bad politicians from Ohio who have given up the ghost.

Dewine
Blackwell
Taft
Voinovich

All of them crawling to work behind the scene to continue our Screwing.

7. Great news. I heard Jennifer Brunner is polling well but...
I hate to lose her as SOS-she did such a good job.
