Mika agrees with Rush on the Stimulus bill
The other day she was parroting right wing talking points on the New Deal. Does anyone still doubt that this woman is really a conservative cynically pretending to be a liberal in order to play Colmes to Scarborogh's Hannity act.

2. When did Mika start wearing clown makeup?
I tuned through - and immediately away from - Morning Joke yesterday and it looked like they had Alice Cooper on.

"Dittos, Rush! Mega-dittoes! Over to you, Joe!"

3. What a douche Halperin is-Rush is a problem for OBAMA?!?!??!
the Guy from New York Magazine (Heilemann??) correctly stated that this is NOT good for the GOP. They do not want Rush to be the face of their party. He mentioned how successful Reps have been connecting Dems to "liberal icons" over the years (he meant Jane Fonda, Streisand, etc.) and that now they are attaching themselves to Rush who is "not the face of the majority of the country"

Halperin was being serious. He actually tried to turn it around and say that Rush Limbaugh was trouble for Obama. What Halperin doesn't get is that aside from Rush's formidable past (for the GOP) anyone tuning into his show will be let's say surprised by both his snarky attitude and they will feel left out of endless inside "jokes". You really have to be indoctrinated into the world of talk radio for it not to be shocking. We saw the public introduction to talk radio but in a much more ready for TV presentation-Sarah Palin.... and people found it to be weird, nasty, and unhinged within about 2 weeks.

7. Mika doesn't mind 15% unemployment as long as she is employed
has she ever had to live within a reasonable income or hold a "real" job at "real wages"?

Just being fair and balanced? Having Rush on is not fair and balanced. 8:11 am still waiting

14. Unfortunately- a lot of folks seem to believe in both
and want that to be reflected for one reason or another in every public policy decision.

10. I see the first 20 minutes
of that show before I leave for work. I was speechless that she was using that junkie blowhard as a source on the economy. Did she think to ask him where the fuck he was during a republican administration? Where were his pearls of wisdom then? I almost threw something at the TV.

11. Is she drunk or high in the mornings? Something is weird with her eyes & demeanor.
I suppose MSNBC knows this as it seems unmistakable.

12. Mika is not a journalist nor an economist. She's an English major who got a career from her dad
She may appeal to Nanny Moms who have their kids taken care of by nannies and get drunk at lunch at the country club. Her credibility in anything except batting her lashes and getting insulted by Moron Joe is her talent. She was probably sippin' the vodka this morning too.

17. She's on the radio now cheering the Republicans
for voting against the stimulus bill.

I'd love to see her debate Rachel Maddow. Rachel would wipe the floor with her.

18. Rachel can wipe the floor with pretty much anyone...
except maybe Malloy or Olbermann because they're screamers and smart screamers (aka, not Hannity) tend to win debates. Rachel is very smart, but she has a calmer demeanor. Having said that, she could easily win if she had something to turn either Malloy or Olbermann into a hypocrite. See Gibbs' ownage of Hannity's guilt-by-association rant.
