It's Media Madness Day. Blago Thursday.
Get ready for it. Today Blago will address the Illinois Senate. He has 90 minutes, and with Blago, you know anything can happen. What will he say? What historical figures will he compare himself too? What poem will he quote? What color is his cross?

Reportedly the Senate vote to out him will be unanimous. By the end of the day the Governor will be Pat Quinn.

Congratulations, Illinois DUers.

1. Has he mentioned Pearl Harbor, 9/11, or JFK yet?
Maybe Jesus?

I can't wait.

2. Yes, I think he's mentioned Pearl Harbor.
The burning question is will he compare himself to Jesus.

This will be quite the show.

3. My head hurts.
Blago...blah,blah,blah. Rush Limbaugh...blah,blah,blah. Last week it was Caroline Kennedy...blah,blah,blah.

I`m in the process of completely changing my "news" intake habits. This morning I switched to BBC America and found some actual real news. Who knew about Sri Lanka? No matter how hard I tried, Morning Mika`s junior high school role and Willy Geist`s morning jester routine just didn`t do it for me. I couldn`t even get excited about the NBC employee`s day after day book hawking. Most morning cable "news" shows have about the same substance as romance novels with Fabio on every cover. Same crap, different day.

4. I'm totally ready for Governor Quinn. Hopefully, we will get him today.
Then maybe some IL bills will get paid.
