. . .I was fine and then Obama walked over to the members of Congress and I got chocked up, kept my composure, but got chocked up. . .WTF? Fricking Leahy has a DAMNED CAMERA, why? I have never ever seen a sitting member of Congress with a camera at a Bill signing. Whatever it is its things like that are chocking me up.

3. I lost it a little after he signed it, Lilly was shaking his hand & the President was like
"Naw - I need a HUG" That was a beautiful moment.

4. Patrick Leahy is a skilled photographer. He had an exhibition
at a local gallery last fall. I can't wait to see the photos he's taking of the Obama administration.

10. I could not help but thinking: here is a woman from Alabama
who probably grew up in a segregated community, may or may not have been involved in the civil rights movement and is now hugging and being hugged by a black president.

If George Wallace could come back from the dead to witness this.
