MSNBC-"Winning the War on Terror?"
Edited on Wed Mar-04-09 01:26 PM by jenmito
Below that banner question it gives facts about how long we've been in IRAQ-"This month marks 6 years since the U.S. led invasion of Iraq" and then different poll numbers about how Americans feel about our success in Iraq. It's (the terrible interviewer) Andrea Mitchell now interviewing Jim Webb who's doing this segment. Since when was Iraq part of the "War on Terror"? :eyes:

1. It's past time to retire that ridiculous expression - and the "War on Drugs" too!

5. Ridiculous on the face of it.
War on Terror = war against a tactic (or emotion)

6. Or as Gore Vidal said...
...it's like declaring war on dandruff.

7. Exactly. But even worse, MSNBC is calling the invasion of IRAQ the "war on terror" when
the war in AFGHANISTAN is at least the one against the people who attacked us.
