4. I guess because wage pressure is the prime driver of inflation

When inflation is going down it's likely workers have lost the ability to demand higher wages.

We beat inflation by "beating" wages and the lower half of the workforce wasn't eligible for the consolation prizes the middle class got. (grossly inflated stocks and houses)

Seriously. They probly won't go below zero. And if they do, everything else is gone too, except maybe the gold you got buried in our back yard, and you can have a lot of fun trying to eat that.
