Our First Lady is feeding the homeless today
Edited on Thu Mar-05-09 01:48 PM by Fleshdancer
I wish I had pictures of how beautiful this is. MSNBC just aired a video of her at a soup kitchen serving food to the homeless. This woman is an inspiration.

I'll keep looking for pictures or the video to post here.

2. That's awesome!
I know it's a PR stunt, but it's still pretty cool, and I get the sense that the Obamas genuinely care.

12. I don't think it is a PR stunt. She did this regularly in Chicago
with the kids. This is part of her life.

13. What was Mrs. Bush's "cause"?
Every First Lady has a cause that they championed. Lady Bird's beautification of the highways left a lasting legacy -- I saw my first blue bonnets today.

I remember Nancy Reagan's was "Just Say No," OK, it may not have been effective, but at least it was something.

I can't recall anything Mrs. Bush did except the Texas Book Festival.
