The Cable Chatter Channels are soooo out of Touch!
Just had a great Health Care Summit, a wonderful Q&A, the likes we have never seen (except for Obama's Fiscal Summit), and the follow up on the News is Matthews asking whether the Rush thing was a White House Plot (yeah, Matthews, the WH forced you to talk about this Adnauseum :eyes:), CNN attacks the Health Summit idea (Robert Byrd's point on Executive power with czars), and we won't talk about Fox or heaven forbid CNBC (Crooks w/t Nerves of Barons w/t Cash)!

I was totally stoked after the Q&A, and now will turn off the channel.

1. Cable-speak.
If it can't be communicated with hyperbole, it's not worth covering. :eyes:

2. I'm with you
I just turned it on as the microphone was passed to the AA woman who wanted everyone to remember ethnic disparity, and from there to the end, it was clear something had happened in that room that had never happened before.

And then Cafferty went whining about the 2% earmarks. :eyes:

3. My friends wife is French ... She asked me why does America not have News Channels on TV..

I knew exactly what she meant .

The Cable news is a joke - They confuse providing news with entertainment. I am not saying that they should be boring -- but JEEEZUZ ... the amount of time they spend over- analyzing stupid things is just astounding

4. I was too! Pres. Obama is sooooo smart! Last week I watched ..
the financial forum and today, watched the health forum. He speaks so intelligently on any subject--did you notice Andy Stern, Pres. of SEIU, Nancy Pelosi, Sir Edward, everybody, smiling as Barack took their questions and handled them with such ease! So calm, cool and collected and INTELLIGENT!

Also, when it was over, he was swarmed by the people there--Dems as well as Repubs, (as he always is). I love to see him go out in the crowd and start shaking hands. We're all in love with him! :loveya:

P.S. It will be repeated on Sunday night at 8:00 p.m.

Don't miss it!
:bounce: :fistbump:
