1. Hah..this I knew about. Are they throwing this bill out yet?!
I'd really support this bill taken out. I'm really surprised Obama let this go through to the senate.

2. The earmarks total $500 million LESS than last year, and are LESS
than earmarks back in 1994.

Amazing thing is, ya just won't hear the Republic Party mention either of those FACTS.

3. I think Obama rope-a-doped them on this one...
First off, you're right and if you watch the news...they actually are spinning this on Obama. That Obama is the one pushing this bill. I don't like the fact that it made it on the floor but I also don't think he's pushing it down their throats.

Do you know what I was thinking as an aside to why Obama probably okayed this?! I think he did it to out them on purpose. So he can show how hypocritical the Republican party is. They seek fiscal responsibility but really are the proponents for wasteful spending. I'm starting to think more and more he knows this would be made public and it would be argued on the floor especially by people who are now so conservative about spending. But he just showed up the big mouths and publicly humiliated the Republicans again. I didn't think of this then...but I think this is really what he was thinking.
