GOP Not Fully Embracing Their Candidate for Congress Rosanna Pulido is the GOP's candidate in the race to replace Rahm Emanuel in Congress, but her own party hasn't given their full support.

plus about 60% of the Independents, too, and she'd still lose by about 10%.

I used to live in that district.

And a cursory look at her Freeper posts demonstrate her to be more on the fringe than even the most ardent elected Republican official.

No way does this nutbag win in the IL 5th.

There are DUers that have had to face the same thing. They think the DCCC and DSCC are there to support "progressive" candidates or "all" candidates. In reality, the DCCC and DSCC are there to expand their caucus. And they don't like spending money on a dead end race and/or a candidate that can't win.
