Why can't the media get this right? The large budget doesn't come from Obama. This is the bush/republican budget told honestly. Without hiding or putting things off book. we are just trying to pay off the credit card charges that bushco and his jerkoff supporters ran up. The so-called fiscal conservatives seem to be supporting poor money management - Charge to the hilt and then charge some more. That's what we just had 8 years of. Now honest folk are taking up the debt that bush ran up and starting to pay it off.

Anything else should be stripped, and a new bill should start to be formed immediately.

2. History just keeps repeating itself.

FDR had to clean up after Harding, Coolidge and Hoover. Clinton had to clean up after Reagan and Bush. Now Obama has to do the same. Republicans do as they please when they're in power, spending left and right, to their advantage, and then let Democrats clean up their mess --and fault them for it!

5. I remember an episode on the

old sitcom Grace Under Fire with Brett Butler. It took place shortly after Clinton won. Her kid was complaining about the government taking money from their paycheck. Brett explained that the elephants had been in Washington having a big party with other people's money. Now the Democrats had to clean up after their party, that the elephants had messed all over everything.

3. I believe you are incorrect.

The "Budget" for fiscal year 2010 was submitted by the Obama administration on February 26, and is indeed Obama's. The "Omnibus Spending Bill" is a different animal and was in fact crafted before President Obama took office. That is why it includes earmarks from people that are no longer in Congress.

4. "Obama's Budget" is a true reflection

of the cost of the 8 years of bushco. The budget that he has submitted for 2010 is the size and shape that it is because of the republican spending.

I wasn't referring to the Spending Bill. Earmarks, smearmarks. A pittance compared to the real waste of giving money to insurance companies and pharma and and the MI Complex. When mclame stands up and calls them out it is a shabby trick. It makes him sound good when he knows that many of these "earmarks" are just ways of getting jobs and money into the public. Many of them labeled as pork are actually useful. But that doesn't make good tv.
