I was watching a different copy of the YouTube video of Jon Stewart's takedown of CNBC, and some idiot on there (in the "comment" portion) is saying how Obama wrecked the country, more deaths now in Iraq than ever before, more bank failures, yada yada. I won't post the link because I don't want to give them any more exposure than they have. I was stupid enough to respond, and try to point out that if he looked at the DATES on the frickin' clips, they were almost all from, um, the BUSH administration, who just managed to stave off the really shitty news until they were out, and they were talking about bailouts LAST FRICKIN' YEAR.

Plus, it's not like Bush spent 8 years tuning up the economy and leaving us with a surplus - oh, wait... that was Clinton. And for an country of this economic size to be devastated financially in six mere weeks - can't do it. You can do it over an 8 year period, but you can't do it in six frickin' weeks. And he had the balls to write back and (1) blame it on Clinton and (2) say I must have voted for Obama because he was black (I swear) instead of wanting him to fix the country. This country took 8 years to take down, Obama's not going to fix it in 6 weeks.

Oooh.... the hate mail that followed to that response.

in world that isn't reality based. Our job is to fix as much stuff as humanly possible so they can be left in the dust of their own worn out ideas. If they would at least concede the wrongs and rights of their own party I wouldn't give them the time of day but they won't so from our persepective we don't have the time. It's forward march and don't look back even for a second, well maybe for prosecution but other than that.
