CNN's State of the Union - Where were John King's Big Giant Balls for the last 8 years?
Edited on Sun Mar-08-09 07:45 PM by FrenchieCat
Cause I didn't see them before catching this rerun from this morning.....

Although after taking Peter Orzak thought the wringer,
he seems much more "relaxed" in his handling of Eric "Party of NOPE" Cantor.

In other-words, his balls shrank considerably between segments.

2. AMEN Fenchie
I saw it this a.m. and about put my foot through the tv!!! King had the goddamn balls to say that after all Obama has been on the job for 8 weeks and we have to stop excusing him for this mess! He gave the example of if he (King) were elected mayor of a town telling them he was going to clean up gangs and 8 weeks later hadn't cleaned up gangs, he would be held responsible, blah, blah. Yup, asshole, this global fucking mess brought to us by Bush and his criminal financial boys is just like cleaning up gangs----oh, and NO, John boy, you wouldn't be able to clean up those gangs in 8 weeks either!! Then he just beamed when he got Cantor on. I thought he was going to bolt over the desk and plant a wet one on him!! Very VERY definitely the talking points for the last few days and to be continued is that this is all Obama's fault, he's making it worse, the country and the world are turning against him, blah, blah. YEP, talk us into a depression, you goddamn asshole!

3. I wouldn't mind tough questions
as long as tough questions were asked of BOTH sides....but it seems like that's too much to ask of King and David Gregory. It just seems very one sided.

8. Tough questions are okay if reasonable.
Edited on Sun Mar-08-09 09:16 PM by LiberalFighter
But asking questions before they are reasonable shows incompetence on the part of King at best. Most likely he is a weasel dick biased bastard.

4. I turned it
Fuck him! He didn't have a word to say in the negative about the * admin. He was cutting off his guest and he was rude.

All of a sudden all of these media right wing whores feel like they are obligated to attack anything and everything out of the new administration. It's been 45 day's and they are attacking and asking why everything is not fixed. Yet they said nothing when the * admin pushed their illegal propaganda down the throats of America. I get the feeling that they are still receiving right wing talking points.

5. MadMaddie---8 years
For 8 goddamn years these same people NEVER held Bush responsible for a thing. It was always "you can't expect him to know that; he's new to the job". 8 years later they were using the same excuses that he should not be held responsible for one goddamn thing. But now it is imparative to destroy Obama after a few weeks because he hasn't cleansed the world of Reganomics. Hey, John, how come it took you so long to get a show all your own...where were you after 2 months on the job???

And they are still making excuses for the * administration. Even as the crimes are starting to be unveiled, the media is still giving the * admin a pass on responsibility.

20. that's because 'personal responsibility', which the republicans
blabber about all the time, is meant for everyone else but themselves. They are not responsible for anything. And while the dems walked lockstep with the republicans for eight years, and they are equally culpable, the fact that now the republicans keep saying how each and every one of them stood up to bush on spending and crap just pisses me off. Not a one of them was concerned about spending or anything they did for eight years as long as THEY were the ones spending the money. They are not fiscal anything. They borrowed and spent. which is worse, here? because at least clinton left with a damned surplus. But somehow everything is Clinton's fault or someone else besides their own. They take no responsibility for their part in this mess AT ALL. and i find it infuriating, to say the least. and no one seems to be calling any of them on it. When are the public going to wake up and see that the media is nothing more than a marketing arm of the congress critters.... the owners of their corporate sponsors are shaping the news to suit their own purposes.

13. King is one big Republican talking pt after another.
He is either lazy, stupid, a right-wing Republican shill trying to pass himself off as an objective journalist, or all of the above. He needs to give up on the facade of objectivity he's trying to project.

I cannot hit the remote fast enough when he comes on.

Did you also know that John King is married to CNN's Dana Bash?
