15. No, I don't think so.
There was a called-in comment on Good Morning American this morning whereby Michael J. Fox commended President Obama's actions. Fox has certainly worked tirelessly on this issue. I think Fox is out of the country at the moment.

8. "Let's go sign this thing"
And with a left handed stroke of his pen, it is done. Obama did what he said he would do and all that's left now is the screaming from the religious right. Fuck 'em. You lost. We're a smarter country as of this morning.

21. Another religious right value that isn't Christian at all
You would think Christians would be interested in new research that could aid in fighting diseases.. after all, Jesus cured the sick. But again, the religious right doesn't care about you after you are born.

14. When someone says that they are talking about economic issues.
Of course there are differences on cultural issues, and I applaud Obama for signing this.

17. They say they are leaving the party or won't support Obama anymore and it's not just about
economic issues. It's also about foreign policy issues AND family issues (rights of gay people, for example, claiming he's a homophobe).

18. If they are talking about cultural issues then they are flat out wrong. Economic and
cultural issues are 2 different things. I find most people who are wishy-washy like that are not really focused on the economic issues.
