Market Thumbs Down on Obama. What's Oil Voting On???
..and again, today, we have the continuous blather from CNBC and MSNBC that the market is voting thumbs down on Obama and he is the entire reason for the economic disaster, blah, blah..yeah..whatever. But I'd just like to ask one question. What is oil voting on? It was, like, $32 when he took office and it's now $48-49. Part of it's low was that it foresaw nothing in the way of economic movement and, thus, no demand. Looks like it's smelling some economic movement coming----and, of course, any such economic movement would have absolutely nothing to do with that know-nothing Obama. Right? (Now, if we could just harness the shit coming out of that network maybe we would have a good renewable source of new energy.) P.S. today they were gushing over how really, really good GE stock is--must have gotten their butts slapped.

1. And the Middle Class approval of Obama is still soaring.

Class warfare and, finally, the middle class is winning - or at least scoring some blows.

4. But I want to know why oil is smiling?
If all was so doom and gloom, oil would be still hanging around on the bottom. What is oil seeing that these people don't want to see???

5. Manipulated Profit.
oil companies are just a cabal that price gouge at will. Although anti trust laws are in place to protect "us" from "them" they are ineffective today. The corporations can manipulate the market and do so all the time.

10. Sadly, this is the worst thing you could do.
Granted, if you need the money, you have no choice. However, as Buffet says: "Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful."

6. Everytime Americans lost their jobs the market went up
because it made more money for the corporations. And the corporations were the only people that counted.

So fuck'em.

8. You said it!
They're upset with Obama because he's making it more difficult for them to steal. Boo hoo hoo. Cry me a river, assholes. His approval ratings show that most people are not buying into their whining and nay-saying. We're HAPPY he's putting the clamps on them! It's about time someone did.

7. Oil was underpriced, some upward movement is natural
Speculation has violently amplified oil's price swings, both upwards and downwards.

9. The reason I heard on Moneytalk this weekend is...
...because the middle east knows the investment in solar and wind will only increase our energy output by 1% and that since Obama won't invest in nuclear or natural gas cars, we will continue to be dependent on them when the economy turns around.

Of course, Bob Brinker is a right wing tool shed, so it is EXACTLY the garbage I expected him to spread.
